Rutgers is close to everything

Rutgers is located 60 minutes from NYC, 75 minutes from Philadelphia, and within an hour to beautiful beaches ("the shore"). There are also lots of local towns and hotspots (Asbury Park, Princeton, Morristown, Somerville, Summit, and more). This means there is no shortage of local adventures for you to explore!

Where do students live?

While most graduate students live in the nearby area (e.g., Highland Park, New Brunswick, Piscataway, Somerville, Metuchen), some students opt to live closer to their clinical practicum in NYC or Philly in their 4th or 5th years.
